About Us

Turning Over A NEW LEAF began as a studio home-based flower shop in 2000, arranging for weddings and special occasions. The owner, Becky Banks, is a Certified Floral Designer and continues to study the latest trends and techniques in the floral industry. We strive to make each arrangement a work of art. We focus on taking care of customers, providing arrangements that are of good taste quality, and offering the freshest selection of our products.

Our Location:

In 2016, Dennis and Becky Banks purchased a historic building (one of the first buildings constructed in Gas City) and renovated it to accommodate a retail flower and gift shop at 313 West Main Street. This building revealed many surprises. After removing layers of old wall materials, we found a place between the original studs that was written in script, “established August 23rd, 1888” and learned the building was constructed to serve as a church for the early settlers in Gas City (formerly known as Harrisburg, Indiana). We have carefully restored the building to preserve many of the old characteristics of the original construction while making it a beautiful store to visit including the original columns adorning the front porch and restoring the original hardwood floors.
